Mana Kobuchi-Philip holds an MA in TESOL and a PhD in linguistics. Her experience of teaching Japanese started in Tokyo and continued in the US, and later in the Netherlands. After coming back from Europe in 2015, she is based in NYC and currently an adjunct assistant professor at Queens College and Baruch College, teaching Japanese language and linguistics.
